Enrollment Requirements
To enroll at Warren-Alvarado-Oslo School District, a student must be five years of age before September 1 to enroll in kindergarten.
A birth certificate, immunization record, proof of primary address, and parent/guardian photo identification are required to complete the registration process.
The addresses on the proof of primary address and parent/guardian photo identification must match.
When applicable, a court order of custody (i.e. a stamped petition) is also required.
Registration
Warren-Alvarado-Oslo School District does not require in-person registration. Rather, all registration forms can be completed and mailed, faxed, emailed, or delivered to the school district at:

Registration Forms
To register as a new or returning student at Warren-Alvarado-Oslo School District, please contact the elementary office at 218-745-4441 (PK-5) or high school office at 218-745-4646 (6-12) for more information and registration forms.
Open Enrollment
Families not residing within the Warren-Alvarado-Oslo School District may enroll in the district for 2026 - 2027 by submitting The General Statewide Enrollment Options Application for K-12 and Early Childhood Special Education by January 15.

Enrollment Then & Now
When considering what the district has to offer, it is no surprise that more and more families are choosing Warren-Alvarado-Oslo School District. In fact, the student enrollment has increased by 100 new students since 2017!
In 2017 - 2018, the district had 495 students. By 2023 - 2024, the district had 580 students, 314 at the elementary (PreK - 5) level and 266 at the secondary (6 - 12) level. For 2025 - 2026, the district anticipates enrollment to remain between 560 - 580.
